Hunt prices, deposit, payment, and cancellation terms are below.
Guided hunts

All prices are per hunter, per day.
Thermal hog pricing includes the thermal setup and ammunition. For all other hunts, clients bring their own guns and ammunition. Bird cleaning is not included.
Lodging
The cabin
A hunting cabin sits on the El Campo lease, on the same property as the hunting.

Booking terms
Deposits, payment & policies
Deposit
$50 per day, per hunter, flat. The deposit is forfeited if a client does not show.
Payment
Zelle, Cash, Venmo. Gratuity: 20% suggested.
Cancellations & refunds
- If we call off a hunt (unsafe weather, flooding, lightning, or anything on our end): we'll offer to rebook first, and if no new date works, the deposit is refunded.
- Cancelling more than a week out: we'll offer to rebook first; a refund is available.
- Cancelling within one week of the hunt: the deposit is forfeited, with no rebooking.
- Weather on your end: bad weather usually means good duck hunting. If we judge the day safe and huntable and you choose not to come, the deposit isn't refunded.
- No-show: the deposit is forfeited.
- Genuine medical emergencies: typically refunded.
Hunters under 18
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a family member, and the supervising adult signs the waiver on arrival.
Insurance
Southern Backwater Outfitters carries general liability insurance.
